The Udon Thani nightlife is centered mostly near the Central shopping center. With places like the Day and Night Complex and Nutty Park.  The street named Soi Samphan Thamit has the Day and Night Complex also has several more bars with nice, beautiful and willing girls.  There are also a few hotels on this street which are guest friendly and easy to take a bar girl to for some extra fun.  Remember, cash is the only form of payment at these bars and most hotels.

Udon is a city where you can find almost anything you want, but you may have to look harder than you would in Bangkok or Pattaya.  If you can find an English speaking tuk-tuk driver, they are the best source to find something you are looking for.  But be careful with the tuk-tuk drivers, most have agreements with certain places so they get a kick-back in money if they bring a customer to them.  So if the place looks too seedy or you feel uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to ask to leave and go to a different place.

In the North-East Thailand area, Udon Thani offers the most variety of nightlife venues that are targeting foreigners.  This is because of its history of hosting an USA Air Force base during the Vietnam war.  Since the war, Udon Thani has hosted some CIA and other USA agencies and their activities.  Due to the existence of the USA operations in Udon Thani, you’ll find more English speaking people there.
